I have a GTX 570 and it's a really high-end gpu for gaming, but Windows Performance rating is as follows:

Graphics for Windows Aero: 4.2

Gaming graphics and 3D applications: 5.7

Is this normal?

Windows Experience Index does weird stuff. If your actual performance is fine, don't worry about it.

The Windows Experience Index doesn't really mean anything.

And Willard grats on getting your 2500K to. 5.25, thats quick!

Heh, yeah, that's my benching speed. I'm still fiddling with my 24/7 speed. Right now I've got it at 4.6 GHz, but I can go all the way up to 4.9 without breaking 1.4v.

I got a real gem of a chip here. Paid an extra $30 to get it locally because I didn't feel like waiting on shipping from Newegg. Seems to have been a good decision to me :D
