Computer boots, but no video

computer was running great then all of sudden it started to beep one long and two short beeps. I pulled memory sticks out and installed them one at a time until I found which ones were working and the ones that were not working. Is it possible that the memory slot is bad or is it cruded up I cannot see anything in them. What can I do?

use one good dimm and put it slowly into each dimm slot...if it stops working it could be the dimm slot. I would also check the bios rev of your mb a lot of new mb are below rev on first boot and have cpu and memory updates.
