Okay so i recently just built my desktop and I'm looking into getting a good GPU. I am looking at hopefully getting either a EVGA 560Ti 2GB or a Asus HD 7850 2GB. I am not going to get a EVGA 480, that being said i wanted to get some peoples thoughts, i want to possibly use 2monitors at times. Also i wanted dot use the HDMI cable but i heard the ASUS 7850 had some sound problems connected to the HDMI. I also read that they both have driver issues apparently???? I wanna know which card is better, temps and all the good stuff, charts and proof would be great!

thanks

Here's your chart:

Whatever driver issue should already be contained & quantified in the benchmark. The 7850 driver could only get better as AMD release bugs & fixes & optimization.

hahahha random u crack me up!!!!! but yeah now i understand, now do you think i should get the Asus or the Sapphire?

Performance wise, the 7850 falls right in between the reference 560 Ti and the 900 Mhz 560 Ti.

The 900 Mhz 560 is about $50 cheaper.

$210 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121425

The Asus card can go up to 1070 Mhz (30+% OC over reference speeds)

As to ya driver issues, here's a Xfire review on the 7950 ... not sure what carries over to the 7850 ..... in time these issues should be resolved if not already. No SLI issues with the 560 Ti 900Mhz that I have experienced or read about.

Crysis 2 would not scale whatsoever, we had a weird freeze in Far Cry 2, Lost Planet 2 was rather unstable, Dirt 2 showed massive corruption (hence we left it out). So yeah, that's quite a bit to deal with.

Another title that ran into problems was Battlefield 3, 2-way Crossfire worked spotless, but with 3-way crossfire we could not even get into the main menu.
