Pop sound then computer restarted

I'm thinking it was my PSU but the computer started right back up without me hitting the power button. This happen while I was playing planetside 2. all temps were fine.

visually inspect your motherboard for burn signs. pop sound could be the capacitor

I looked over the motherboard and did not find anything. There are a few I couldn't see because of the push/pull config I have with the radiator mounted on the rear exhaust.

took psu apart since it is a liitle over 2yrs old and it looks fine.

Could a loose fan plug cause this? i turned the pc back on and it works fine with intel burn test and furmark both running at same time
