I have seen some USB TV tuners on sale, and I'm wondering if the slow USB transfer rates wouldn't hamper performance. Because if they don't, then such tuners might be a good option for those with no more PCI slots to spare. :)

I have read some reviews that says the ATI TV-Wonder USB-edition is not as good as the PCI version in terms of quality and performance.

Yes, avoid them at all costs, they slow down your PC down to a crawl depending on what you're doing!
