Hello, this is my first post as well so um hello! Glad to meet you all!

I've never built a computer before (i know how) just never did it before, so I need some help ideas, etc etc.

Budget 1,200.00

Barebones Kit: GIGABYTE Ivy Bridge Unlocked Barebones Kit - GIGABYTE GA-Z77-DS3H Board, Intel Core i5-3570K CPU, ADATA 8GB DDR3 RAM Kit, Seagate 1TB HDD, 24x DVDRW, Thermaltake Commander MS-I Case, Ultra 650W PSU (I also already have 4GB memory, so total memory wll be 12GB

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2580461&sku=B69-1412

Reason: I love the benchmarks of the 3570k, good PSU, good hard drive, crossfire capable, holds amount of memory/type I want. Watcha think?

Video Card: Sapphire 11200-00-20G Radeon HD 7850 Video Card - 2048MB, GDDR5, PCI-Express 3.0 (x16), 1x Dual-Link DVI, 2x Mini DisplayPort, 1x HDMI, DirectX 11, Dual-Slot, Eyefinity

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2262863&sku=A271-7850

Reason: I was going to crossfire 2 6850's however after doing some research I learned a single 7850 can outperform that. Watcha think?

Operating System will be Home Premium 7 64 bit ($99.99), I will have a 20inch Widescreen LED monitor ($89.99) (1600x900) resolution.

Also am buying a 6 button mouse and keyboard for a total of ($16.98)

Overall: It will be a gaming computer that my wife will farmville on aswell lol. I will be playing Planetside 2 primarily, maybe EVE Online thrown in sometimes. I choose this because like I said down the road, when graphics demand get higher, I can crossfire another 7850 and have 4GB of GPU power, so what you guys think?

P.S. Thank you for taking the time to look and go over and offer any advice/criticism

****EDIT**** Im currently @ $1,086.91 - $60 MIR, so I got a little wiggle room.
****EDIT2*** This is a re-post, I put the previous post in the wrong category

Solution
the i5 outperforms the x4 because it came out later than the it i choose the x4 because it's better for budget gaming builds in the future you could upgrade the mobo and the cpu for a intel style high budget gaming rig but for now stick with amd if you don't wanna go overboard with money cpu is just another way of saying how fast your computer is going to perform, by comparision the x4 and the ivybridge i5 speed there isn't much of a difference

By the lack of responses am I doing something right? Or did I post in a wrong way?

Should I go with the 7870 2GB for $40 more?

I got about $120 in free money I can spend to upgrade what you see above, any ideas out there?

go for the 670 or 680 nvidia graphic cards instead
and make a custom pc instead of this prebuilt kit saves more money
if you want i could create a pc for you under 1200 w/ the necessities

Im curious...any reason why you stepped to a X4 instead of a I5 3570k.....I based on what I researched the I5 outperforms the X4 significantly
