Hi,
I would like to replace my Nvidia GTX 260 with a Radeon HD 7850 2 GB graphics card. Basically what I would like to know is if this upgrade would make a huge difference. Is the 7850 a good card? Is it much better than the GTX 260? I have enough money to go out and buy the 7870, but I'm not sure if I want to spend that much cash on a graphics card... Do you think it would be worth it?
Also I see the HD 7850 is a PCI 3.0 card, and I think I have PCI 2.1 or something like that. Would that be problem or will the card be compatible with my mobo?
Games I would like to play include:
Battlefield 3
Crysis 3
Dead Space 3
GTA V
Command & Conquer Generals 2
Current system:
AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz
4 GB DDR3-1333
550W PSU
500 GB Seagate Hard Drive
GTX 260
Do you think the rest of my system is still good enough to keep up with the latest/upcoming games?
Thanks!
