More about gaming week parts
  1. If you are willing to spend around $20 more you could get the phenom x4 965 b.e:

The GPU and monitor should do you just fine.

But may I ask what games you are planing to run?
  2. The monitor is like every single monitor. You won't notice a difference between any of the lower budget monitors.
  3. i plan to run the current shooters and popular games like skyrim mw3 and bf3 so i know there will be some limits to my setup
  4. Well, I have an extremely similar rig to yours and mine runs skyrim at ultra. All i would recommend is to get the 965 be that i mentioned.

    +1^

Get the AMD Phenom II X4 965

I also recommend you downgrade windows ultimate to windows 7 home premium. It'll save quite a bit of cash. This can then be used to upgrade the more important components of your build...CPU and GPU. Windows Ultimate is more or less for enterprises and businesses.

    Get this monitor...

    Asus VE228H 21.5"

    Get this GPU...

    MSI R7870 Twin Frozr

Step that RAM up to something like this...

    G.SKILL Sniper 8GB
  6. oh wow i didnt even notice that DeusAres good catch I would've said the same thing lol
  7. I would do that but i already have windows ultimate i have for a while plus i got it for free from my brother which is why that wouldnt help their. I will end up upgrading my gpu in the future but this is my first gaming rig and i dont want to blow all my cash away
  8. Well what you have besides the processor will do you good! Also, I would think about getting 500GB harddrive instead of a 320GB unless you are really good at saving storage space.
