BSOD after putting in video card

Hello, I just swapped out my 9500gt for a 9800gt. It booted up fine first time but I was not able to change resolution from 800x600. I then installed the newest drivers and then restarted. I get some image corruption (white dotted pixel lines) at bios screen and then during windows start up logo screen. I can no longer get pass the windows loading screen without bsod. I can only get into windows by safe mode now. I read that the 9800gt needs a minimum of 400w. Here is the specs of my psu

Sounds to me like you got a bad 9800gt, where did you get it?

19a 12v rail chances are its not enough for the 9800GT regardless

Also equal chance its a dud card...

power supply isnt to hot, but sounds more like a dead card, where did u get it??

I got the card from a friend. I'll have to test out the 9800gt in his computer and see if it works properly.

As mentioned, if might be your PSU, but I would try the card in another system for sure before I started spending money on anything.
