Yes, you are going to need at least ~$500 for a decent gaming computer. Preferably ~$800.

Also, are you planning on maxing out BF3 at 1080p because that would make a difference between night and day.

so you need 200$ for: ram, hdd, dvd drive, gpu? the gpu already takes up more than 1/2 of the budget which makes it feel like buying an i5-3570k pointless because gpu importance>cpu importance.

edit: and case makes it even worse:

Hdd: ~60-90$
dvd drive: 18$ if free shipping ~24$ without it
ram: ~25$ for 4gb ~45$ for 8gb
Case: varies, higher end builds aim for 50-90$
Gpu: The most.

I'm assuming you're talking about a GPU here, since you're in this section, and for what you want, this is about the best "cheapest" option for you.

MSI GTX 560 Ti http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127616 $219.99 ($199.99 after MIR)

You can also go with this, but you'll have to use lower than Ultra quality settings in BF3 at 1080p. It's a good card that I can personally vouch for since I have one, it just won't do Ultra quality at 1080p in BF3 (with decent FPS).

Asus GTX 560 DCII OC http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121446 $179.99 ($159.99 after MIR)

+1 these are your best options at 200 price point. ;)
