Anyone know anything about laptops?

So my friend wants to build a good gaming laptop, but without paying over £700 for some kind of Alienware/razorblade

Does anyone know any good websites that sell laptop parts?

Also, any tips for building one? I already know how to build a destop from scratch, but is there anything i should look out for in the laptop?

I dont know if there is such thing as a retailer that sells laptop parts out, as different companies have different layouts for all of their ports on their laptops, and finding a matching case will be limited. the most you can do is find parts on like ebay. other than that, you will need to find a business that will allow partial custom builds and build it with them.
