I have BF1942, Road To Rome Expansion and Desert Combat installed and
enjoyed three of them tremendously even I only play in OFFLINE mode with

Bots.
(I know It's lame to play with bots but I have only 56k connection and
besides I did enjoy playing with bots though).
I heard about a mod called Desert Combat Extended which also has bots
support
and gives you more weapons and vehicles ...I intend to download and
install it, but before going out and download it on my lame 56k modem
connection, I would like your help in letting me know about your opinion
on the single player aspect this Mod.
Does it improve a lot the single player gameplay experience of Desert
Combat?
How are the bots compared to Desert Combat (does the mod in someway
improve the AI of the bots etc...?)
Your help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks And Regards,

Absolutely, new vehicles and weapons, and in DCX 8 you can also play
as Brits in selected maps, with Warrior APC that rocks, plus
infantry/AA weapons <GPMG's better than M249 SAW>.
Bots are the same, no better & no worse.
Basically just expands upon the excellent DC experience, more fragging
fun, < have you got DC_Final, DC.7 or both?>.
All in all well worth the download, even over 56K.

Cheers, ruamoku.

DCX 0.81 only requires BF1942 and DC 0.7 (as a core resource),

DCF is NOT required.

good luck downloading on 56K
you prob be ok if use torrent or a reliable download site.

DCX 0.81 is about 700MB in size.
