I have read the *new* article regarding the 17" LCD monitors. Toms hardware provides a calibration download for the NEC 1760V model, but will it work on my NEC 1760NX? I hear that the V model is just a downgraded NX. Any responses would be appreciated.

I think the calibration should work only if you are using the analog mode in your 1760NX...

I have the 1760NX as well, but i'm using the DVI-D connection...is Tom's Hardware going to make a calibration for the digital mode for NEC LCD 1760NX?

If you can't use it for either model, I would be pretty surprised. From a previous THG review:

"The LCD1760NX is more expensive ($549.99) and height-adjustable but, and NEC has confirmed this, it has the same screen as the 1760V. So comments on the one are valid for the other."

I guess so, thanks a bunch...I'm really looking forward to my new LCD, except that now Tom's Hardware has shown that its only 16ms on 200,000 colours :( Oh well.
