anyone else have problems with reception/dropping calls/not being able to be
heard frequently? Service in Mobile, AL...wife has V180 with no
problems...Im on my fourth 220...factory refurbs.....maybe make a better
paperweight? Am I alone?

That's pretty much my opinion as well. I sit my 220 next to my wife's phone
and while she has 4 or 5 bars mine will fluctuate between 0-3 bars. I just
got a warranty replacement phone which is a little better than the original.
I'll be replacing mine as soon as I get a few extra dollars.

Ditto. I was really excited to try the 220. Big disappointment. Signal
strenght was very weak. Camera was grainy, boot up time was very long,
keyboard was not very responsive. Cingular store let me borrow one for a
few hours. Got the Nokia 6230 instead and have been very pleased with it.
