You get $40 in rebates and $25 in promo codes put it at $654.02

I guarantee you will be much happier with this build and the quad core with a 6870 will give you a nice leap in performance.
  2. Ohh, I like that build too. The HIS HD 6870 doesn't seem to have a whole lot of good reviews, do you know if they're reliable? Just really don't want anything to go out on me. Other than that everything looks good on that build.
  3. The HIS are good I put one in my brothers system it was the Ice Q version. You could go with XFX or Sapphire also as they are very good. XFX has a lifetime warranty. I think the Quad core is worth the money. more and more games are using more cores. The 6870 Will run anything at the highest levels with the exception of a few. BF3 will run on High but not Ultra with good fps @ 1080P.
  4. I suggest later investing in a good 1080p monitor and an ssd. You can also keep the case you chose as it it very good too.
  5. Ok, I'm definitely going to be upgrading the monitor later on. I hate having my crappy 6 year old monitor :(

Edit: I got it down to $600 with promo codes and rebates! :D
