It is the 1 of 3 things.

1. Motherboard, its not posting right thus restarting itself. You need to reset the CMOS and see if it works.

2. Its the PSU, it simply faulty. Return it.

3. Its the Case Switch. The power switch keeps on pressing itself. Unplug the reset switch to eliminate that. Try the reset switch in place of the power switch.

no bios,no beeps, power supply good, motherboard is good sent back to gigabyte said it was fine. think it is the cpu,and its not the case switch!!

Did you ever solve this? I have the exact same symtom with my Asus Sabertooth X58 board. I have RMA'd the mobo, the Intel i7-960 CPU, the Vengeance DDR3 RAM and the Corsair PSU.

The Asus folks let me send the mobo back one more time but I'm starting to wonder if it isn't the CPU, even though it too has been RMA'd.

Please let me know what solved your problem.

If the CPU was the problem it would stay on and just beep continually. It MUST be one of the 3 things I mentioned above.
