I have an old router that I used for my husband laptop. I disconnected it a while ago. Now I'm trying to reconnect it to my computer with a new laptop and can't get it to work. What am I doing wrong?

Are you wiring from the laptop to the router or trying to connect wirelessly? Did you buy that router or was it supplied with an ISP and, if the latter, are you still with that Internet service provider?
