Hello,

how do you insert a pci-e 2.0 graphics card into a pci-e 1.0 slot? Pci-e 2.0 is backward compatible on a pci-e 1.0 slot- what does this mean? Does this mean you literally put the pci-e 2.0 graphics card on the pci-e 1.0 slot backwards? If so then how will the outputs of the pci-e 2.0 graphics card stick out of the computer case? Wouldnt the pci-e 2.0 graphics card effect the space inside the computer? If so that means theres no point gettin one unless you have lots of space in your computer case right? Please can I see a video demonsration of inserting 2.0 pci-e graphics card into a 1.0 pcie-e slot.

Hi

Backwards compatibility means that your graphics card will still work with older technology, it doesn't mean you have to install it backwards.

Just install the graphics card into your motherboards PCI-E lane as normal.
