Hi All im desperate,

I have recently changed my card from a 460 GTX to a 570 GTX. The 460 ran without issue for a year. I havent even been able to load a game yet with the 570. It loads windows fine. Plays HD video fine but whenever i try to load into a game it crashes and pc goes into sleep mode. Tried the 460 again and all fine. Ive even changed my psu to try and eliminate the issue XFX 650w PRO now but does exactly the same..... Cant think of what else to do. Tried the newest drivers but nothing..... PLLLLLEEEEASSSEE HELP its driving me insane.....Thanks

Hi

the power supply you have listed is plenty, so that shouldn't be the issue (providing its not faulty).
Anything in your PC overclocked?
Do you get the same issue in every game?
Are you able to test the card in a friend or family members PC?

No nothing overclocked..... I dont know anyone i could test the card with within 100miles lol. BF3 and Skyrim provide same results.... Loads about a second of gameplay and then....boom.... crashes to sleep mode. Power supply is 2 days old...card is 3 days old... i can put my 460 back in and runs perfect again....

Any information about the issue in event viewer?

Any error messages, "driver stopped responding" anything like that?

Did you completely uninstall all the drivers related to the 460 before installing the 570?

Its possible that you have a faulty card... I would try to RMA it.
