Get access to password on your own router

how to I get my password for router I have inadvertently lost my password and disk for a D-Link router

The easiest thing to do will be a reset of the router, usually there's a button on the back, slightly recessed, if you press it in for about 30 seconds, it should reset the router, and then you can access it with the default password, which is usually something simple like default, or password, but you should check on D-link's site with your model just to be sure.
