Hi,

I'm buying a new computer for Christmas and I want to have a decent gaming system,so which system is better:

CPU: AMD A6 X3 3500 2.1Ghz,3MB
HDD: 500 GB
RAM: 4 GB
NVIDIA GeForce GT630 2GB

or this one:
CPU: AMD ATHLON II X3 455 3.3Ghz
HDD: 1000 GB
RAM 6 GB
NVIDIA GeForce GT545 1.5GB

Current AMD CPUs = bad CPU for gaming, always stuttering.

Any NVIDIA GPU based video card with a model number below 650 is terrible for gaming on.
eg: GT545 or GT630 are both about as good an an Intel HD4000 which is a free GPU that Intel integrate on their Core i# series of CPUs.

GTX650 = good enough for gaming on, anything less is garbage as their half as fast for each -10 on the model number,

The Radeon HD6850+ and HD7850+ or higher are also acceptable for gaming on.

I think none of those are in the range for "Decent" gaming but surely "Budget" gaming.

Try replacing the GPU in the second config with ATLEAST a 6670. I'd prefer a 7750 to be future-proof just in case.

And invest in a better 4-core if you can afford it. It'll keep the PC upgrade proof for a couple of years I guess.

Well,I'm living in Bulgaria,as far as I know there's no desktop computer here that has a GTX 650-higher.I've searched many comp.stores here and there's nothing with that.
The second configuration here is 1000 leva(500 euro)and that is pretty expencive here.I've asked some people that work in the store I've found these machines and they all said the both configs are pretty powerful and can run most games though. What should I do?

Don't. Buy. Premade. PC.

Pick components yourself, it'll be cheaper and way better.

Both those systems will be a let down in the gaming specs.

You need at minimum

FX4100 or i3
8GB Ram (Its so cheap atm do not skimp)
nVidia GT650 or HD 7850
