I5-3570k or i7-3770 computer

Hello, i am looking into 2 pre-built computers but i can't decide which one to buy.

1)Price: 750€

CPU: i5-3570k
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Pro4-M
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7770 1GB
Ram: 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz (2x 4GB)
Hard drive: 1.5TB SATA3


2)Price: 800€

CPU: i7-3770
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Pro4-M
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7850 2048 MB
Ram: 8 GB DDR3 1600 (2 x 4 GB)
Hard drive: 2 TB SATA3


I will be using it for gaming (assassins creed series) and for school work. I want to use that computer for 4-5 years.
Which one should i buy?

The i7 build will give more performance and (from what I can tell) is better value. The performance boost mainly comes from the GPU, not the CPU.

If you can only get them in these pre-made configurations, the i7 build will do better.
If you can customize it, swap the 7850 into the i5 build, you will see the same performance in games for less cash.

Yes the I7 is worth the euro 50 more price just because of the GPU upgrade.

can you edit and do a mix of the two.?

i could swap the 7770 in i5 build for 7850, but than i'd have to pay 850€ for that build, and i'm not really sure if it's worth it.

What about motherboards, Can you swap out for an ASRock Z77 Extreme4

Are there any known problems with that motherboard that you would recommend me another one?
