Hello Everybody,

Hoping I can get some help with adding a 2nd monitor to my computer. I have crossfired 6950's. Both cards have only 1 Hdmi port on them. When I plug my 2nd monitor into in the HDMI port on the 2nd card it does not get recognized by the computer. When I use the VGA port on the 1st card I have no issues with the computer recognizing the 2nd monitor and getting it working. I would like to use the 2nd HDMI port if possible. How can I get the computer to use the HDMI port on the 2nd video card?

Any advise please?

Afaik when you enable crossfire, the outputs of the second card will be disabled. You need to connect both monitors to the first card. You can just use DVI - HDMI adapter if you only have HDMI input on your monitor:

When you crossfire gpu's you must plug both monitors into your primary gpu. The outputs on the 2nd card are disabled in crossfire/sli. If you only have one hdmi output available you will need to use an hdmi adapter for the 2nd monitor. Hope this helps. Good luck.
