Beeping, help!

Hi, I just put together a computer, and whenever I turn the power on, the motherboard beeps continuously until I turn it off. There is also no display. This motherboard is a Biostar H61MGC. THe beep codes found online suggest it may be a problem with my RAM, but I have 2 sticks, and ive tried all possible combinations of the first stick in the first slot, first in second slot, etc. with no luck. My processor (i5 2400) also has a small scratch on the metal tab. This is a picture (not of my processor), imagine a small scratch that is copper on the left tab: http://tinyurl.com/cowxt97. Is it possible that my error is processor related, or did I get 2 bad sticks of RAM? (I'm sure all my components are correctly plugged in.) Thanks!

Side note, I have a mid 2010 mac that I could take the RAM out of to test on the PC, but the mac's RAM is 204 pin. Would that RAM work on a 240 pin motherboard?

According to your BIOS (assuming it is AMI) the Continous Beeping means your CPU is overheating

But I literally havent used it for more than 20 seconds at a time, and it always has two fans...
