Quick question about my load voltage for i5 3570k

i set my vcore through bios to 1.170.

I'm getting load vcore @ 1.14 but for some reason @ idle its showing 1.164?

my i5 3570k is clocked @ 4.2ghz

Is that too high or too low?

LLC is set @ low (gigabyte is different from asus, on GB board theres no optimized etc for LLC vdroop.)

  1. It is fine and well within the operating range for that CPU.
  2. should i try messing with the vcore a little bit more? like setting it to 1.160?
  3. Try running Prime95 on your system. If it lasts 8 hours without crashing/freezing, you're good!
