Quick question about my load voltage for i5 3570k

i set my vcore through bios to 1.170.

I'm getting load vcore @ 1.14 but for some reason @ idle its showing 1.164?

my i5 3570k is clocked @ 4.2ghz

Is that too high or too low?

LLC is set @ low (gigabyte is different from asus, on GB board theres no optimized etc for LLC vdroop.)

It is fine and well within the operating range for that CPU.

should i try messing with the vcore a little bit more? like setting it to 1.160?

Try running Prime95 on your system. If it lasts 8 hours without crashing/freezing, you're good!
