Been trying for a little over a week now to achieve a dual monitor setup. What I have found out is that my motherboard's onboard video does not work when I have a monitor plugged into my video card. I have tried configuring the BIOS, but, nothing. If anyone can help, it'll be greatly appreciated! Thanks,

When you add a gpu, your motherboards onboard graphics is disabled (unless you have one of those mobos that support integrated graphics) & you must connect both monitors to the new gpu. You should then be able to configure your 2nd monitor through windows control panel.

Yes both monitors need to be connected to the GPU. What is the make and model of your GPU?
