Hello, i'm upgrading some parts on my computer right now, the parts being the cpu/mobo, gpu, and a heatsink. i will be getting the hyper 212 + and a gigabyte 7870 2GB. For the cpu/mobo combo i don't know what to choose. i have two choices depending on my budget which will be confirmed christmas day, the combos include the amd fx 6300 and the i5 3570k. with the amd i get an extra 8gb of ram for free.
-6300 newegg combo link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1162455
-i5 3570k combo link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1160929

- i am just wondering if these are good choices.... also if i end up getting the fx 6300 will the 8gb of ram be compatible with ram from a different company but with the same specs?

- thank you very much!

The 3570k is the better processor though the bundled motherboard is not the best.

IS there any chance you live near a micro center?

There is a sale on the 3570k:

and then grab this board?
