My friend is building a gaming PC to play games such as BF3, Far Cry 3 etc. And we have been arguing about which cpu should be used. I'm all for Intel because of how much cooler and reliable they are but my friend was told by someone else he should use the AMD 8320 and he has become convinced he wants to use this CPU. He also wants to use the stock cooler with it but that's another situation. What i want to know is if i am right about the i5 3570 being a better option. I haven't selected the K series because he is not too much of a PC pro and won't be needing to overclock.
I would appreciate any help.

Solution
Realibility no difference

The FX 8320 has a higher TDP then the i5 , but doesnt necessarily mean it will run hotter (only that it outputs more heat) that will depending on your cooling

Do you think the AMD stock cooler would be sufficient at least to keep it from exploding because my friend is building his pc and cheaping out on the CPU cooler of The 8320
