Is there an upgrade available for P4 HT 2.6GHz CPU?

I have a HP pavilion a250n, 4GB of RAM, 120 GB HDD, and a P4 HT 2.60 GHz CPU (478 socket). System bus 800 MHz, chipset 865G, 32 bit OS, PC 2700.

I am looking for information on upgrading the CPU to 2 core with HT, everything else would stay the same or similar. Any suggestions or SOL?

Yeah no, everything will have to change. P4 at 2.6GHz most likely uses socket 478, which uses pins. A Core 2 processor uses pads and LGA775.
