Avi laggy

Hello,

using this laptop for almost 11 months. 64 bit, powerful and fast.

then one day, left it overnight to download stuff. (been doing this for quite a few months)

after that, laptop laggy and avi files and youtube files jerky. mp4 okay.

tried:
- replacing codec
- replacing all plugins
- reinstalling all videos software, direct X
- replacing all graphic related drivers, original and from manufacturer

last resort, formatted

then reinstalling all my previous programmes but...

same thing happened. did all the codec replacement, removed everything, using codec tweak, tried different players.

read most of the forums, tried most of the things.

thinking of formatting once again but without installing video programmes to try but decided to ask around first.

any thoughts?

Did you try using VLC media player?

try powering off the laptop and check that all the ram is seated...system going to use system ram for video ram...also check in the bios and with gpu-z that the if your laptop have intel/amp or intel/nvidia.. that the faster chipset did not fail and your running on intel chipset.

Tried using GOM and VLC but same problem occurred.
