Battlefield 3 ultra settings

So, i've been playing BF3 multiplayer for a while now and was quite happy fraggin others, now i think i need more eye candy since i cant play in ultra settings without serous FPS drop. i need recommendations from users who already bought the nvidia 6xx and the 7xxx series, my budget is 400$ max.. cant go beyond that
im currently using GTX 560Ti 1 GB which is a great card but the Vram is a tad low, now the question is AMD or Nvidia, which one do i go for? also my mobo supports only crossforeX not SLI, my specs are below (if i need to upgrade any other component, please tell me)

CPU : Core i5 2500k
Mobo: Jetway Z68 ( supports crossfire only)
RAM: Corsair Veangance 1600mhz 4GB x 2
GPU: Zotac GTX 560Ti 1GB
PSU: Coolermaster GX 650
Case: Coolermaster HAF 912 Advance

I'd go with GTX 670. It's the best card you can get for your money at that pricepoint and it will max out BF3 without any problems whatsoever.

yes i was thinking about gettin a 670 but i read somewhere that EVGA are recalling their 6xx series for some hardware problem, cant remember what it was exactly, thats why i need suggestions from ppl who already own the cards

I say go with 7950 it in your budget and better then 670

I see that its cheaper than the 670, but look at the BF3 1900x1200 ultra, 4x msaa stats, its below 60 FPS which i think is the minimum FPS for playing a fast paced shooter game

@harsh60: What have you been smoking bro? GTX 670 takes blows with HD 7970 and is way faster than HD 7950..

Yes, EVGA recalled their cards but they quickly fixed it and the FTW edition is the fixed one (the one I linked).

There isn't a resolution where HD 7950 is faster than GTX 670.

So yea, I can say that GTX 670 is faster and better. It's better value for your money too.
