Is this PSU compatible with mcp61pm-hm (iris8)?

Yep, but you may find that 500watts may be more than you need. If you are using the board as is without a plugin video card, you could drop requirements down to 350watts.

alright thanks, yea i was going to buy a new video card and it requires 450 Watts and i only have a 250 Watt PSU
