Hello,
It is my first time to buy/build a gaming rig. Currently here is my set up.
i5 3570k
Asus p8z77 m pro
wd 1 tera black caviar
700w epsilon psu
8g 1600 hyperx kingston
aerocool strike gt x
os: w7 pro 64bit
main use: heavy games and photo editing.
my questions are:
1) is Asus hd7850 2g 256bit ddr5 a good choice for GPU? or the MSI N560GTX-Ti OC 2gb Ddr5 Twin Frozr? the only main difference I'm seeing from the cards, is that 7850 uses the pci 3.0, while the msi is pci 2.0. and of course one is amd and the other one is geforce. I'm not sure what to get, I'm fairly new in these components. Or aside from these, what other cards can you recommend that is within the price range of mentioned cards.
2) Currently my cpu runs @38-40 degrees C, and I'm planning to overclock it, I think I need to replace the stock fan with a proper cooler. My question is, which is better? air cooling or water cooling?, What's on my mind right now is the cooler master v8 or v6gt, is that enough? or are there any better alternatives?
Thanks a lot in advance.
