Asus GTX 670 DirectCu II 2GB TOP DDR5

Hi, I will be building a new computer soon, I've heard that the Asus GTX 670 DirectCu II 2GB TOP DDR5 causes " Red Screens of Death" ? I would like to know if the issue has been solved. And should I avoid getting that great card? Is it a software or hardware problem? And if I were to avoid this card, what other brands should I get for the GTX 670?

  1. The top edition is said to be highly binned that allows more guaranteed overclocking, according to newegg feedback and the review of techpowerup there's nothing wrong about the card, but I heard issue to regarding the Asus Tweak GPU utility, mainly software problems.

If you're not satisfied with the Asus Top, you can go EVGA FTW if you wanna overclock high too but you'll sacrifice cooling, best balance equation is the Gigabyte Windforce 3X, that's my recommendation.
