Please help no wifi

Hi Folksi can only connect internet via the ether cable. laptop shows my wifi (netgear) but cannot connect.
i actually have 2 netgear routers same problem on both.

Is it giving you any error when it cannot connect?

My first thought would be that you do not have the routers security information correctly set up on the laptop (if the wireless is secure) in the wireless connection settings.

Do you have any other wireless devices, and do those work?
