Connecting more than one phone to home wifi

Hello,we have bought 2 new phones one connected to wifi at home no problem the other won't? someone suggested it may be our router? Does anyone have any ideas?

What phone type connects and which one are you having a problem with?
What type of router?

Generally you should not have a problem making the connection. Should be as easy as setting up the phone with all of the routers information (and security information if it is a secure wireless).
