if you really want an upgrade don't look any lower than GTX580 or 7870.

Personally if i had the card you have i wouldn't bother upgrading till i could afford a gtx480 or gtx570 or even a Radeon 7850 but that's just me lol anyway good luck!

in other words i'm saying that it is better to keep what he has. 460 and 6850 are on par. 6870 does not offer big improvement over GTX460. heavily overclocked 460 (around 850mhz) are almost as fast as GTX470 and 6870 at stock. so instead of wasting more money for small performance upgrade it is better to overclock. and even better it is free

your current 460 is better 6790 so if you want to upgrade oh sorry if you want to downgrade then 6790 is your choice and if you want to upgrade and you have 120$ then you have to increace your budget for more 10$ then you may find better card then 460

thank you all for the great inputs.
I have decided not to upgrade yet because:
- even though for 10-20$ more i could get a better card, the performance increase would be around 10-15% and that weighted against the effort (change drivers, hw install, etc) and the fact that my free time to play D3 is around 1-2hours / day pushed me to leave it as it is now.

I was hoping that in 2 years, since it`s about 2 years I have this one, the technology would have evolved (and it has) and the prices would be lower, for a decent upgrade, if you know what I mean.

Thx again, have a nice day!
