If your usage is for gaming, then any AMD cpu is a poor choice today.

Ram is sold in kits for a reason.
Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time.
Some motherboards can be very sensitive to this.
That is why ram vendors will not support ram that is not bought in one kit.
Although, I think the problem has lessened with the newer Intel chipsets. Still,
it is safer to get what you need in one kit.

If you are gaming why not use Intel? the Bulldozer Processors unless its the 8 core, stand a slight chance against the i5 series.

Also if you put a budget down that would help me and other build you a decent intel setup

no more than 1200

Read this Tom's article on the best gaming cpu's for the money July 2012.
In it, there are NO AMD winners at any price point.
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,3106.html

But, for a gaming pc, the graphics card is more important than the cpu.
My rule of thumb is to spend twice your cpu budget for the graphics card.

A $200 3570K would be appropriate with a $400 GTX670.
See if you can build a budget around that.

Shockattakr's build has some flaws:
1. Sound card. You don't need one.
2. GPU. using the money you saved on the sound card, go get yourself a GTX 670.
3. Power supply. Cooler Master doesn't make the best PSUs. A Corsair CX600 would be more reliable.
