Good System? Budget!

Trying to build a rig with my budget, this is at the top of my budget, I have no money left and was wondering if this could cut it. Would this rig work? If so, what would it's capabilities be?

CPU - Intel Core i3 2120

Video Card - AMD Radeon HD 7770 1GB

If its video rendering your after, that rig will in no way perform.
For gaming, it will be good for light~med gaming

I cant see any way of lowering the cost of the build unless you go AMD (A Phenom II 965 and the AsRock 970 Extreme3 is what I recommend).

Games that arn't too stressful, or intensive games on med settings.
So games like L4D2, Startcraft, MMO's and the like will play at acceptable FPS on high. But don't expect stellar performance from something like Crysis 2 or BF3.

its not good enough for that you will need probably a better graphics card something like a AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB its quite dent to your budget but it is worth it
