Radeon HD 3850 not working on Intel DG41TY

I'm trying to get a Radeon HD 3850 256MB working on an Intel DG41TY motherboard, but I'm not getting any display, even on POST. Tried the graphics card on another computer and it works fine. I've updated the BIOS, but no luck. Is this card simply not compatible with my motherboard?
I have a 500W Antec power supply, and only one hard drive.

Try To Disable On Board graphics From Bios Menu And Select Use PCI-E Slot.
Then Plug Your Monitor On New Installed Graphics Card VGA Port.
One Question I Have,
Why You Install New Graphics On Your Computer Because Your
Motherboard Support On-Board Graphics And Which Is More Powerful Than
ATI Rendeon HD 3850
