http://pcpartpicker.com/p/dIkK ok so this is 627 which is lowest possible just on the bottom chose lowest possible merchants and then if you want 550ti 2 gb try this for 130$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130744 750 but can overclock but will need once again a cooler like 212 plus so thats 30$ more. the reason your not getting as many responds is because you want i5 2500k and 550ti 2 gb and the os included at around 650$ price range and i think its kinda impossible i think i3/ 550 ti or something like that also why 2 gb? what is your res?

Why do you want a 2gb 550ti? The extra ram is only beneficial in higher resolutions that the card it self is not fast enough to run. It's a gimmick.

I was going to get that one because at microcenter by my house it is only $10 more and I thought that if it performs better then yay but if it is just a gimmick then i only wasted $10

By the way I was looking around and it looks like a i5 2500k is not going to happen on this budget, and was wondering what you guys thought of the i3 and the amd phenom 2 x4 965 Black edition, keeping in mind that I will be overclocking

? What are you basing this on? Amd's are the only choice for overclocking in the sub $200 market. Overclocking in general produces more heat from both intel and AMD. Oh and btw you should check out ivy bridges temps in overclocking vs sandy.

I was looking at the AMD because I was going to upgrade to haswell when it releases in 2013, and since the z77 will not be compatible I was just going to go with a cheaper phenom for the time being

I plan on playing games like battlefield with the build, so if I still wanted a quad core processor coul I go with an AMD phenom 2 x4 965 Black edition to overclock up to 4.0ghz
