but you'd also need a copy of windows

You can spend more on an intel processor , but it will game WORSE because you have less budget for a graphics card

if you are not going to overclock with i dont' belive you can no you don't and going with the 550 is fine because starcraft 2 isn't very gpu demanding or cpu for that madder.... and outlander if he only plays starcraft then he will want a better cpu and btw amd fx series is horrible for games...
