I've been trying different parts and this is what I have now

Intel Core i3 2120 Sandy Bridge 3.3 GHz
Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2 LGA 1155 mATX Intel mobo
Sapphire Radeon 7770 GHz Edition 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16
Western Digital 320GB HDD
Samsung 22x DVD Burner
PNY 8GB Memory (4GB x 2)

Still no case and psu, having trouble finding one thats good, if you could find the same parts cheaper or better parts that still fit my budget that would be very helpful

Thanks

I came with a very similar budget build -

Corsair CX430 PSU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026

Grand total without case - $493.94 Price after mail-in-rebates : $468.94

Case - Cooler Master Elite 430 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119227

Grand total with case - $543.93 --- Price after mail-in-rebates : $508.93

I prefer to choose the HD6850 over the HD7770, a little more pricey, but the performance to back it up. http://www.hwcompare.com/11925/radeon-hd-6850-vs-radeon-hd-7770/

I would have to cut a lot of corners, but it may be possible...

It'll literally be a bare-bones PC

i'm thinking of stealing yours for my cheap build . .add an dvd drive and go over a few dollars and it a better build by far.

 i have the PNY ram, it works great.

 go for it! The more the merrier, haha.

On a side note - Great to hear the RAM is good, I was debating the PNY vs something like G.Skill or Corsair.

you could get it cheaper if you didnt use pc part picker because they go to diff sites i mean if your going to do a payment plan anyways. I have a build under $500 that would be great its 4 cores and an AMD with ssd but i dont know if they are compatible parts or not.

I find pcpartpicker actually is handy as it finds you the parts you want at the cheapest possible price. Granted you may have to buy from a few different vendors. I had a build at $1300 with components from 3 different vendors but when I had it all set at newegg it went up to $1500, that's excluding eye candy, input devices, and anything else you want to have with it.
