Hello, there my name is sachin.

i have msi motherboard "G41-MP26",
and Intel Pentium D 2.8GHz Processor.

My problem is whenever i play any games or convert any videos (i.e high cpu utilizing) activities, my cpu temperature reaches to 62, that is not the problem.

Problem is My system temperature reaches 65 degrees, hence throttling takes place.

I do not understand is it motherboard's problem or cpu's.

(i have already changed heat sink paste and cpu fan is the normal fan that i got from intel).

Those pentium D's run hot!

Go into the bios by pressing delete during startup, turn on speedstep and look for other temperature settings, you might need to turn the CPU warning temp up a bit.

Hope i Helped! :)

Thanks man for replying my post.

But the problem is i have got only 1 option in bios that is concerned with CPU temperature.
check this image: http://i47.tinypic.com/mtlelk.jpg

My CPU throttle at 65 degrees.

And this is a pic when my CPU is running at my max utilization.
A few more seconds and "System temperature" will reach to 65.
And then i have to wait for a minute till it reaches 57 degrees.
Check this pic : http://i50.tinypic.com/2q9l5kx.png

Even though my CPU temperature is below 60 degrees,
why does it throttle and what is this "System temperature".

Somebody Please reply.
