Basic PC air cooling tips please

Hello. I have a cheap acer M1200 bought it in 2008 i used to have a video card in it but the fan broke and i just use the on-board display now.

Anyway i'm planning on buying a new video card nothing special probably a 6670 but i was surprised how much more cool my PC runs now that the video card is out so before i buy a video card i want to install some fans because it would only be the fan on the video card and CPU fan on the heatsink.

My PC has a mount for one fan at the front and one at the back. I was thinking about putting one fan at the back to vent hot air out the back but then i thought maybe it's not good to blow air out with no air coming in but i just don't know. So i considered getting a fan in the front but a lot of dust would be sucking into the computer.

Any advice would help a lot.



TL;DR:

Is it ok to have a fan at the back of your PC blowing air our without one blowing air in at the front? Or would it be better to have it blowing air in at the back?

I'm using the POSITIVE PRESSURE AIRFLOW SYSTEM. It works best for my opinion.

I still don't know if i should buy one a fan at the back blowing air out and one at the front blowing air in or just one fan at the back blowing air in or out.
