Nvidia geforce gts 250 not working?

Hi im haveing this problem with my graphics card when i play games at intense moments my monitor will turn off for just about 4-6 seconds then come back on so im guessing its my graphics card here are my comp specs

os:windows 7
ram:4 gigs
gcard: nvidia geforce gts 250
processor: amd phenom II x4 955 processor 3.2 ghtz quad core

It didnt happen alot before but i got diablo and now it happens like every few min and wanted to know if anyone knew how i can figure out whats wrong

have you blown out the dust from your video card sounds like over heat to me.

i opened my comp up and the card didnt have any dust on it or in the fan but the card it self when i touched it was hot
