What settings would I be able to play games like BF3 steadily at with at least 50+ fps? I'm trying to keep my price at under $1000 before tax. Please don't suggest to me to build a PC, I don't have the time to go hunting for parts, I don't know how to build a PC, I don't have the desire, patience or time to learn how to.

Thanks.

Yep, I know that there are other means of getting it cheaper, just for a few reasons that i'm choosing to get it from iBuyPower. I just basically would like to know what settings i'd be able to run most games on fluidly (50+). I'm new to PC Gaming. :)

Depends on which setting of BF3 are you playing.

I have i5 3570k (running at stock and about to O/C this weekend), ATI HD7870 , Asus P8Z77-V and G.Skill DDR3 2133 16GB ram and running BF3 on 1920x1080 at ultra setting without any issue.

The 6850 isn't all that powerful. I would say medium settings. That really isn't a very good deal, you should be able to find a better prebuilt than that.

Yeah, my setup is similar to that. I don't have a K CPU though.

The HD6850 will run BF3 on high at 1080p(no AA/MSAA, and just SSAO), around 40-55fps on most map configurations. Other than that, expect to game at high settings (note, high, not very high/maxed out) on most modern games with AA settings low.

Though, like many people already said, you would be paying too much. The rig value itself (without the OS/ other software, and the monitor) is about 500-600ish. I'd say, if you can get the same configuration for about 100-150 dollars cheaper, you will be getting a better deal.

With my setup I play on High settings at 1920 x 1080 and never get below 40fps. On Ultra settings it goes to the 20s and 30s, so its not fluid to the eye.

With that same setup but instead using an HD 7850 you would see a great improvement. Also building it yourself would allow you to get that GPU without going over the top with the budget.
