Need help, my computer wont let me raise my res. over 1440x900

I am using the built in intel 3000 graphics on my core i5 while i wait for my gtx 670 to arrive. For some reason it say the max res. is 1440x900, any ideas???

The onboard cannot do more than that kdoody. what monitor do you have?

A dell se198wfp, it is 1920x1080 but for some reason it will only output to 1440x900. I am using a DVI connection.

same issue it seems. Monitor only supports that max resolution.

I dont think there is any 19" monitor in the world that can produce a resolution higher than 1440 x 900?
