New build system kinda slow

Just built my computer, ASUS Sabertooth z77, i7 3770K with 8 G memory. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. But the system would take almost 2 mins to get ready after certain drivers installed. I tried to install the system twice. The problem kept coming up. Is it because of the bad drivers I installed or too much useless drivers? I didn't install the latest BIOS drivers since the default version works fine.

So could anyone please enlighten me on this? :)  And also how much time, on average, would a brand new build computer take to get ready for you guys?
Thank you very much.

Maybe you installed old drivers lol. Check if you have the latest ones, always.

Yeah, I'm currently using a hard drive. But still, I think the speed is slower thank my friends' computer. They are also using hard drives.
