FX-6100 with MSI FM2-A55M-E33

Hi. I was wondering if there was a way to check if the AMD FX-6100 CPU is compatible with my motherboard, the MSI FM2-A55M-E33. Thanks!

The support page for your motherboard states that:

And if you don't read that, well there is the hard way knowing if its compatible and that is plugging it in realizing it wont work :lol:

So that FM2 board is not compatible for the FX-6100, you need AM3+

Edit: Ack, I'll just put up a prinscreen of the support page, it'll be easier for you.

As you can see, the FX-6100 is not listed, that is because it is not of the same socket type. As mentioned above, AM3+ boards is what you want and they NEED an updated bios version to support it.
